Soacha Extension receives training as Emergency Brigade Members

The training was led by the Office of Occupational Safety and Health and was aimed at 15 officials from the extension of the University of Cundinamarca.

Emergency response, first aid, crisis management, among other aspects, were the topics addressed by a group of workers from the Soacha extension with the purpose of strengthening their knowledge and skills when facing eventualities or catastrophes in the workplace.

These training activities, conducted for 15 people between March 20 and 22 of this year, were led by the Volunteer Fire Department of Carmen de Apicalá (Tolima), who provided training and assistance to the brigade group of the Soacha extension through instructions and experiences.

It is worth highlighting that the emergency brigade established by the University of Cundinamarca is of great importance at the workplace since it involves taking measures and actions in the face of potential accidents.

Activities aimed at reinforcing learning in emergency situations and accident prevention in the workplace are led by the Office of Occupational Safety and Health.
