With the start of the tax filing season with the Colombian Tax and Customs Authority (DIAN), the University of Cundinamarca, through its Public Accounting program at the Fusagasugá campus, is offering a valuable resource to advise the community. On Tuesdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., students, in collaboration with DIAN officials, offer in-person consultations at the university. In addition, virtual assistance is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, ensuring that everyone has access to the guidance they need.
Jenny Alexandra Páramo Aragón, coordinator of the Public Accounting program, highlights the importance of the NAF (Tax and Accounting Assistance Center) agreement, which acts as a bridge between our students, regulatory bodies, and the community. This agreement provides an opportunity to bring the university closer to society, offering support and solutions to citizens' tax and accounting concerns.
Páramo Aragón points out that “this agreement has become an enriching space that facilitates experiential and practical moments, allowing our students to attend to those who need it most.”.
The Knowledge and Learning Management System has noticed an increase in demand for advisory services with the start of the tax filing season. This agreement is designed for everyone, offering assistance with RUT registration, updates, and cancellations, as well as with managing tax and financial obligations.
To schedule an appointment, those interested can call 313 286 75 28 or write to the email address [email protected] . Additionally, in Fusagasugá, there is a service point at the Secretariat of Economic Development, located in the Pueblito Fusagasugueño.
“This semester, we have a large number of senior accounting students ready to support the community and make this process an enriching experience. Don't miss the opportunity to receive expert advice and resolve all your tax-related questions,” the professor concluded.
