Recognition of Women at UCundinamarca 21st Century

“The woman who represents us transforms her environment, contributes to society, democratic values and harmonious coexistence,” said Adriano Muñoz, rector.

The University Welfare Directorate, in conjunction with the Fusagasugá Campus, the Soacha, Facatativá, Chía and Zipaquirá Extensions, and the Girardot and Ubaté Branches of the University, carried out the commemoration of “UCundinamarca Women's Day 21st Century”, a space to highlight the commitment, hard work, dedication, service, leadership and passion that distinguishes them, recognizing that with each purpose and mission action they build a better version of themselves.

“The empowerment of women at UCundinamarca is unique. We feel represented by the women of the University; we believe in their commitment, strength, leadership, courage, and skill. They defend the principles of democracy and freedom, are autonomous, and have a sense of belonging. Furthermore, in their daily work, they create value, but above all, they are transhuman women; that is, they are women who defend their identity and can develop their life plan, striving for their happiness, based on democratic values and harmonious coexistence.”, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, rector of UCundinamarca, expressed this during the celebration.

The women of the institution enjoyed an afternoon of culture and recognition. At each location, staff members nominated one of their colleagues for the UCundinamarca Woman of the 21st Century award. electronic voting The administrative community chose their favorite.
