Public Accounting Ubaté, 1st place

One of humanity's greatest achievements is self-conquest. This involves overcoming all fears, doubts, anxieties, and uncertainties. In this way, one demonstrates the inner strength that enables the unique qualities expressed in DNA.

Within the framework of Expo Ucundinamarca 2017 A multitude of academic activities were developed that highlight the spirit of the Cundinamarca University community. One of them was...VI MEETING OF RESEARCH SEEDBEDS῍ developed in the Chía Extension.

For its part, the Public Accounting program in Ubaté participated with a remarkable group of students and faculty who demonstrated that research is learned by doing research and overcoming the fear of speaking and presenting the results of research work to the community. This culminated in two students from the branch receiving the recognition of first place in the presentation of papers.

They are: Lorena Gacha Paéz and Jenny Ocampo López, advised by Professor Omar Guillermo Robayo; with the work entitled “Proposal for generating economic growth through a tourism strategy for the municipalities of Manta, Macheta, and Tibirita”. Likewise, teacher Jenny Gómez with the work entitled “Design, construction and implementation of a comprehensive childcare and preschool education center focused on NLP, in Tunja (Boyacá)”.

For their part, Victoria Bernal Farfán, Johan Sebastián Acosta Castañeda, Lida Isabel Ortiz Malaver, Karen Lizeth Forero Castañeda, as students of the program, also presented progress in the research process that they are currently leading.

These results are a product of the guidance of the program's research leader, Professor Luis Alfredo Vargas, and the coordination of Professor Ricardo Andrés Rodríguez, along with the support of the entire program's teaching team. Ultimately, just as we learn to walk by walking, we learn to research by researching.

“Individuals score goals, but teams win games,” Zig Ziglar.
