On August 22nd, at the Facatativá Extension, the self-evaluation and weighting day of the psychology program was carried out from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with the participation of the university community with whom a snapshot of the state of the program in terms of quality was made.
For his part, Darwin Díaz, dean of the Faculty, stated, “Given the challenges and obstacles that this 21st century presents, it is vital to accredit the Psychology program as a training space where quality converges.”.
It is worth noting that the student's role is fundamental in the process; regarding this, Andrés Murcia, a final-year psychology student, shared his opinion.“I find the program's social impact within the communities very interesting, as well as knowing that accreditation will give the professional much more weight in the workplace and in internationalization.”.
Subsequently, the following process must be carried out, which consists of the following activities: Information gathering, application of perception instruments, issuance of quality judgments; as a result of this information triangulation, generation of an improvement plan and finally, the self-evaluation report.
