As an incentive for the most innovative teachers in their teaching practice through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the workshop was carried out within the framework of the “Teacher Laboratory 21st Century”, of the Soacha Extension. Design Thinking: Become a video producer, activity directed by Adriana Araque, Director of Pedagogical Innovation at CESA (College of Higher Studies in Administration).
Through the Design Thinking methodology, the teachers explored their creativity in designing innovative solutions to various situations and problems that are most common in their work as teachers.
This is how professors from the different campuses of the University of Cundinamarca actively participated in didactic, integrative and enjoyable experiences where they had the opportunity to rediscover abilities and talents, allowing the implementation of new ideas and proposals capable of strengthening pedagogical strategies for the benefit of the academic community.
During the workshop, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, rector of our Institution, highlighted the work of the teachers and their commitment to materialize in the short, medium and long term the results of these creative exercises, among which the production of videos in different formats related to student learning stands out.
Finally, Catalina Barragán Ardila, head of the Office of Virtual and Distance Education, invited each of the teachers to participate in the 1st Competition for Best Teaching Practices from the University, an opportunity to publicize other proposals that inspire educational innovation in order to strengthen the role of the teacher as a knowledge manager within the framework of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model.
