In this space, the university community will be able to experience, with the support of technology, the International University Week ExpoUCundinamarca 2021, organized by the Field of Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation – CITGO of the Faculty of Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences.
Each activity will be broadcast via the official UCundinamarca Facebook page and aims to highlight and promote entrepreneurship and innovation through problem-solving, experiential learning, and the development of behaviors aligned with the institution's three core missions: University Social Interaction, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Training and Learning, in partnership with various national and international institutions. “We have a very interesting program that will generate innovative and co-creative ideas leading to scalable and profitable technology-based ventures. We will also discuss research development and share learning experiences,” explained Jorge Rico, head of CITGO.
The teacher also explained that one of the main activities will be the Hackathon, where Huawei, as a sponsor, will conduct an activity to create a web application with previously registered interdisciplinary groups.
There will also be an entrepreneurship fair, a virtual showcase of graduates, a symposium on this topic, but from a female perspective in the virtual age, an exhibition of the digital entrepreneurship incubator, an innovation pitch, a presentation of C-Emprende's services, and a public policy discussion on this important issue led by the Universidad Surcolombiana.
Throughout the week, meetings and conferences will be held. Success stories from various entrepreneurs will be presented, and a workshop on entrepreneurship and innovation will be offered. "The cultural learning spaces at the various campuses and faculties, as well as the Student Welfare area, will also be of great interest to students and faculty.".
The program will begin at 8:00 am with the entrepreneurship fair. All faculties are invited to participate in all the events, which, without a doubt, just like last year, will yield excellent results for the university community.
