The UCundinamarca football team continues to write a remarkable history in the National First Division C Championship. With a solid performance and a committed group, the university team is in first place in Group 14 of the central zone with 18 points, consolidating itself as one of the leading teams in the tournament.

The most recent victory came at home, on the UCundinamarca football field in Fusagasugá, where the team convincingly defeated Super Mundial of Bogotá 4-1. This result not only reaffirms the team's strong performance but also strengthens their hopes of advancing to the next stage of the championship and placing among the top 30 teams in the country.

For Santiago Reyes Molina, the team's head coach, this current success is the result of consistent, disciplined work and the commitment of each player. “We've won six games and lost two. The process has been quite significant; the players are very committed and enthusiastic. The team has adapted to our style of play, with a solid structure in ball possession and a good attacking presence,” the coach stated.

The strategist emphasized that the victory achieved on July 5th represents a morale boost for facing the next challenge. The team will visit Academia Dorada in Bogotá on Sunday, July 12th, in a match that could bring them even closer to their goal of qualifying. “The team's expectations are quite high, and our first objective is to qualify among the best in the country,” Santiago stated.

In addition to leading Group 14, the head coach highlighted the historical significance of the moment the sports institution is experiencing. “The team is highly motivated, and that's why we're in first place today with 18 points. No team from Fusagasugá has ever held first place in this Primera C competition,” he noted.

Beyond the results, the team's performance reflects the effort, discipline, and sense of belonging of the athletes who represent the University of Cundinamarca, both on and off the field. With each match, the university team demonstrates that teamwork, preparation, and perseverance are key to achieving great goals.

Now, the challenge will be to maintain the high level of competition in Bogotá and continue to accumulate points to turn this outstanding present into a historic national ranking.
