At the Corazonistas 2025 Swimming Festival, held in Bogotá on March 22, the swimming team achieved a total of 33 medals: 8 gold, 16 silver and 9 bronze, obtaining third place in the overall classification.
With 16 swimmers in categories from Dolphins to Youth B, the team had an outstanding performance under the direction of coach Anyi Lorena Colmenares Galeano, who highlighted the effort of the athletes and the support of the parents as fundamental to obtaining successful results.
Children's Cycling Results
Meanwhile, the Children's Cycling Club competed in the first round of the Gladiators Cup, held on March 15th in Mondoñedo, Cundinamarca, with the participation of 125 cyclists and 9 clubs from across the country. In the push bike category, the team's representatives achieved outstanding results:
Coach Carlos Andrés Lote Pérez celebrated the results, highlighting that four cyclists reached the final of their categories and two managed to climb onto the podium.
He also highlighted the importance of family support and the commitment of the athletes.
With these achievements, the University of Cundinamarca teams consolidate their presence in the national sports scene and continue their preparation for future tournaments, with their sights set on new victories.
