The University of Cundinamarca, through its Girardot branch, was present on the fifth day of the novena, organized by the Vida Nueva Foundation, a shelter in the city of Girardot. This foundation was created to guide and resocialize homeless people, using the most beautiful tool that God has given us: Love.
For this reason, our alma mater and its directors joined this beautiful activity that allowed us to share and give happiness to 200 children in the region, seeking to continue contributing and supporting this society that so desperately needs education, support, awareness, respect, tolerance, unity, but above all, love to support and understand our fellow human beings.
This foundation has been doing a wonderful job in the Girardot community, reflecting the teamwork and dedication of a family over many years, and thanks to them, they have been able to provide a home and moral support to people who are disoriented and struggling with addiction.
The New Life Foundation is an alternative for people who have fallen into addiction and therefore lack a place to rest. This place is built on principles and values such as respect, collaboration, teamwork, and responsibility, among others, which are practiced daily.
UCundinamarca committed to the region!!
