Communications Office

The University of Cundinamarca also houses the NAFs at the Ubaté branch and the Facatativá extension, in addition to the NAF at the Fusagasugá campus. These Accounting and Tax Support Centers (NAFs) are a social responsibility initiative guided by the National Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DIAN) and implemented by the University of Cundinamarca. They serve as an academic space where students gain practical experience in tax advising, promoting a culture of tax compliance within the community and its surroundings.

NAFs are not exactly a DIAN service point; they are a service point where taxpayers, both individuals and legal entities, receive guidance on general inquiries, such as:

• Guidance on the use of online services on the DIAN portal.

• Support and guidance in procedures for registration, updating and cancellation of the RUT.

• Guidance on economic activities and responsibilities.

• Support and guidance in completing income tax returns for individuals.

· Tax guidance for undivided estates.

• Basic guidance on the refund and compensation process.

• Basic guidance on the billing process.

• Basic general information on customs, tax and foreign exchange procedures and services.

• Guidance on consumption tax responsibilities.

· To promote academic events and the implementation of social outreach strategies that benefit the community and facilitate the solution of problems in Colombian society.
