Human rights: part of professional training?

The agreement signed between the two institutions aims to generate cultural promotion activities, showcase the artistic riches of each country, and strengthen cultural, academic, research, and innovation ties.
At a press conference in the state of Hidalgo (Mexico), the Secretary of Culture, José Olaf Hernández Sánchez, and his team welcomed the teachers and students of UCundinamarca: Juan Manuel Urrego Laurín, ambassador teacher and coordinator of the Music program, Zipaquirá Extension of UCundinamarca; Juan Felipe Ávila Dallos, ambassador teacher, also from the university; Daniela Jireh Galindo Bello and Stivin Mesa Sierra, students of the Music program with emphasis on violin and saxophone, respectively, who will be carrying out their international internship as a graduation option in the city of Pachuca.
The two students will stay in the state of Hidalgo until December 12th, during which time they will be exchanging their cultural, artistic and musical wealth in different activities and settings. It will also be an opportunity to encourage their creativity and meaningful learning of Mexican musical culture through the educational offerings of the Hidalgo State School of Music.
For their part, teachers Urrego Laurín and Ávilla Dallos had a successful participation in the “First Colloquium on Musical Research, from the Academic to the Traditional”, The program includes workshops on topics such as musicological research, traditional music, and music education; as well as providing guidance, mentoring, and sharing their knowledge through special concert tours at various regional centers and museums throughout Mexico. It is worth noting that the instructors will be offering classical guitar performances at the Hidalgo State School of Music until the end of October, when their international stay concludes.
Furthermore, the teachers will hold a closing concert in which students Daniela Jireh Galindo Bello and Stivin Mesa Sierra will showcase their talent, accompanying important artistic expressions from Hidalgo such as the Hidalgo State Children's Choir, the Hidalgo State Symphony Orchestra, among others.
