More triumphs on wheels

The UCundinamarca speed skating team had an outstanding participation in the Starx3 Cup, held on March 15, 2026 in Fusagasugá, where they competed in semi-professional and non-advanced professional categories.

With 49 athletes participating, the team demonstrated their talent, discipline, and dedication in every event. The results reflect this effort: 21 gold, 21 silver, and 9 bronze medals, for a total of 51 medals.

The sporting event brought together more than 350 athletes from different regions of the country, establishing itself as a high-level competitive stage. In this context, the skaters excelled under the guidance of coaches Maribel Chalá, David Gómez Díaz, and Manuel Hernández.

Coach David Gómez Díaz highlighted the commitment of the athletes and the constant support of the parents, fundamental factors to strengthen the training and sports process.

This participation reaffirms the quality and potential of the skating team, which continues to uphold the name of the University of Cundinamarca and consolidate a united and committed sports community.
