More achievements at the 5th Tennis Cup

The University of Cundinamarca's Tennis Team successfully completed the V UCundinamarca Cup, held on June 14 and 15, 2025 at the Academic Sports Center (CAD) in the city of Fusagasugá.

Among the achievements obtained, the following stand out: Miguel Pinzón Contreras, Champion in the third category (singles), Gabriel Arias, Runner-up in the fourth category, Laura Sofía James Ramos, Runner-up in the red ball category, Luis Carlos Monroy Chávez, Semi-finalist in the fifth category, Laura Valentina Suárez, Semi-finalist in the orange ball category, Tania Gutiérrez, Semi-finalist in the sixth category, Pablo Emilio Amador, Semi-finalist in the sixth category, Alba Ormanza Pérez, Quarter-finalist in the fifth category.

Pedro Alexander Suárez Guzmán, the team's coach, highlighted the effort, dedication, and commitment of the 16 players who represented the institution. He also encouraged them to continue training with discipline to achieve further positive results.

The coach also expressed his gratitude for the constant support and encouragement of the parents, who were fundamental in motivating the students during the competition.

Looking ahead to new tournaments, the team continues its preparation, demonstrating that sports and academic discipline can go hand in hand in the comprehensive education promoted by UCundinamarca.
