The Rector, the directors and the Public Accounting program of the Facatativá extension of UCundinamarca, regret the death of the fifth semester student Mayerly Katherine Bolaños Nariño, who was characterized by her joy and responsibility.
The departure of this student leaves a bitter taste among teachers and students, who shared with her during these years and remember her as a sensitive person, diligent in her studies, collaborative and a good classmate.
One of her best friends, Leidy Alvarado, remembers her as a charismatic and very fun person: "She called everyone 'love' and that's how she was, laughter and love," the student also affirmed her commitment to her studies and lamented her passing on August 28.
“It is difficult to see such young and vibrant people die. This news has filled us with sadness; we will remember her for her commitment to research and her ability to work as part of a team,” said Professor Cesar Augusto Giraldo Duque.
The student participated in the book "Research and Entrepreneurship from the Classroom," coordinated, compiled, and edited by Professor Cesar Augusto Giraldo Duque and Mayerly Katherine. "She stood out for her teamwork skills and commitment to research.".
“She was committed, disciplined, and judicious. When required, she participated, and in discussions, she expressed a great desire to become a certified public accountant. She loved her career,” said Professor Armando Piraquive, who shared three semesters in the classroom with Mayerly Katherine.
The University of Cundinamarca sends a fraternal embrace to his father and brother, his family and friends, and accompanies them in this moment of sorrow.
Peace be upon his soul.
