Let's talk about technological entrepreneurship

The Faculty of Engineering invites you to the V Latin American Symposium on Technological Entrepreneurship and VII Business Showcase, which will take place on May 15th in Soacha, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event will feature a wide variety of workshops, including experiences in Industry 4.0 technologies, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, smart cities, logistics, and industrial and technological entrepreneurship, with the aim of promoting creativity and innovation in digital development.

For Alexander Mendoza Monaga, Knowledge and Learning Manager of the Software Engineering program and member of the event's organizing committee, the main objective is to foster the exchange of business ideas and experiences between the academic and business community, as well as to discuss entrepreneurship in different industrial and software areas in cases such as the development of applications, websites, mobile applications, among others.

The event will feature participation from the Systems and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Software Engineering programs. Workshops will cover topics such as Warehouse Management Systems in the Soacha warehouses and Gamified Learning for engineering disciplines, using tools like Virtual Plan.

In the Software area, workshops will be held on exploiting vulnerabilities in Cali Linux, using Artificial Intelligence, and Arduino programming for robotics. More than 500 people are expected to attend, including entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and students from various programs.

For his part, Mendoza Monaga extended the invitation to the entire community to visit the website www.ucundinamarca.edu.co/cibercultura to register for free. This will also be the platform for interested entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services in the event's virtual showcase.
