Human rights: part of professional training?

Of the eight spots for the departmental phase, six athletes belong to the UCundinamarca Tennis Club; an achievement obtained thanks to their excellent participation that allowed them to obtain the titles of Junior Category Sub-Champion: Julián Andrés Yara Ospina, Junior Category Champion: Paola Andrea Ramírez, Junior Category Sub-Champion: María Fernanda Gómez Suescun; and in the Pre-Junior Category Champion: Daniel Yara Ospina, Champion: Ximena Zabala and Sub-Champion: Camilo Andrés Vivas.
They will represent the UCundinamarca Tennis Club and the municipality of Fusagasugá in the departmental phase of the intercollegiate games that will take place in August.
National Tennis Tournament 10: Neiva Country Club
The athletes from the Club also participated in the tournament held in the city of Neiva, obtaining the following results:
Semifinalist in singles and Champion in doubles in the red ball category eight years of age: Sebastián Acosta Prada, in the category up to 12 years, Dilan Sandoval as Semifinalist in singles and Runner-up in doubles.
Likewise, Santiago Fajardo Bernal was Champion in the 12-year-old category and Runner-up in doubles with Dilan Sandoval; Semi-finalist in singles and Runner-up in doubles with Santiago Fajardo in the 12-year-old category, Daniel Yara, Semi-finalist in the 14-year-old category, and Semi-finalist in doubles with Douglas Cortes.
“Mentality, discipline and perseverance to achieve each of our goals,” are the words of the coach, Pedro Alexander Suárez Guzmán, a graduate in Physical Education, Specialist in Pedagogical Processes of Sports Training from the University of Cundinamarca.
Suárez has been working with each of his students for five years to achieve these accomplishments that fill their families with emotion and demonstrate the discipline of the athletes, who, for a year and a half, have belonged to the Sports Club of the University of Cundinamarca.
“We are preparing for the Departmental Phase of the Intercollegiate Games that will take place in August and for the Pony Malta National Cup that will be held in September in the city of Armenia,” says Professor Pedro Suarez, coach of the UCundinamarca Tennis Club.
