Institutionalization of the graduates' meeting

The Academic Council issued Agreement 000010, which institutionalizes the Sports and Cultural Meeting of Graduates of the University of Cundinamarca Generation 21.

For the University of Cundinamarca, graduates are an integral part of the university community and the institution's history. Since 2017, the Alumni Office has been organizing the UCundinamarca Alumni Sports and Cultural Gathering at each of the university's extension campuses, branches, and main campus, with active participation from graduates of the former ITUC and the current university.

The Meeting arises with the purpose of strengthening communication with the university's graduates through the collective construction of knowledge and learning from the academic, cultural and sporting space for the integration of the graduate as dynamic agents in a multidimensional campus of institutional learning.

The agreement invites the meeting to be held annually during the second academic period of each year, as an academic space that promotes participation, cooperation, commitment, return and institutional identity, to increase the sense of belonging of the graduates.

It is worth noting that, throughout this year, the third edition of the Meeting registered a participation of 1,400 graduates and 400 family members, who participated in sports and recreational activities such as futsal, table tennis, mixed mini tejo, frog and artistic, musical and theater presentations.

At the culmination of the Meeting, the graduate representatives to the University Superior Council, Nancy Moreno Amezquita and Mario Fernando Ortiz Almanza, shared the agreement with the graduates and highlighted the importance of continuing to generate strategies and mechanisms to promote association, connection and relationships with graduates.
