Between September 8 and 9, the first Academic Meeting on Creativity and Innovation was held at the Facatativá Extension.
This meeting was organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Facatativá Technology Center, with the aim of sparking interest in topics such as artificial intelligence and data engineering, among others. Students and faculty from the Ubaté, Chía, and Facatativá campuses attended, fully aware that this event was more than just a learning opportunity; it was a space outside the classroom that provided them with practical tools to face the challenges of today's society.
“This semester we have planned to carry out 4 learning camps, as of September we have done 2, one carried out in Fusagasugá and this one in Facatativá, which have been successful due to the enthusiasm and interest that has been aroused among the attendees,” explained Jaime Parra, director of the Systems Engineering program in Facatativá.
