Induction Day in Ubaté

Dreams, challenges and hopes filled the first semester students who entered the University in the municipality of Ubaté.

On August 1st and 2nd, an orientation session was held for 146 first-semester students: 35 enrolled in the business administration program, 25 in systems engineering, 58 in public accounting, and 28 in animal science. The first day of orientation covered topics such as the facilities, benefits, services, and regulations of the University of Cundinamarca.

“"From the Ubaté branch, we welcome the entire educational community, which has grown and strengthened in this 21st-century generation; especially our new students, who today begin to be part of the University of Cundinamarca family. For several years, we have focused and committed ourselves, along with students, professors, graduates, and administrative staff, to being agents of transmodernity, improving day by day and striving to achieve success in the learning and holistic development of our students. These shared goals give meaning to, guide, and motivate the work of each member of the educational community, contributing to the cohesion and alignment of all our efforts.".

”We hope that their time in our classrooms will be the beginning of a life full of success,” said Alejandro Flechas Montaño, administrative director of the branch.

Flechas Montaño adds: “The importance of A University in the Family is the integration of students and their families into university life. This allows for support in education not only from the academic sphere but also from home, enabling active participation in the students' training and learning processes, since the family is the main axis of values education and support in activities carried out outside of educational facilities.”.

Starting a new life project: the university path, is one of the most important challenges of youth and certainly marks a course for their personal and professional fulfillment.
