The Facatativá Extension welcomed 360 new undergraduate students, who will have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of becoming professionals in the fields of Psychology, Business Administration, Public Accounting, and Systems and Agricultural Engineering. The administrative director of the Facatativá Extension, Carlos Fernando Gómez Ramírez, invited the new students to reflect on their new role as students of the University of Cundinamarca, stating: “You are taking a big step in your lives.”.
This change means becoming independent from parents and developing your own opinions, being more independent and critical, and not losing sight of finishing your degree and putting into practice the quality of education that the university is offering you.”.
He urged parents and administrators to work together as a team—university, students, and parents—to support their vision of successfully completing their studies at this alma mater.
Finally, it is worth noting that the induction week is important for new students to learn about the institutional services of technology, academic support, financial aid, and the portfolio of services offered by the University through student welfare, among other topics.
The new students at the Facatativá extension are distributed as follows:
Systems Engineering: 80
Psychology:40
Agricultural Engineering: 40
Environmental Engineering:40
Public Accounting (Daytime): 40
Evening Public Accounting: 40
Daytime Business Administration: 40
Evening Business Administration: 40
