III 21st Century Leaders Chair | JAS Composer
This Wednesday, in Zipaquirá, the third edition of the 21st Century Leaders Lecture Series will take place, starting at 9:00 am. Free admission!
Maestro José Agustín Sánchez is undoubtedly an author who breaks with the traditional patterns of composition. His personality as a musician leads him to connect with the environment that inspires him and with the themes that his works explore. He always seeks to ensure that his music carries a message, especially if those ideas he wants to communicate resonate with the current realities of society.
His works are stories, messages, lessons, and ideas set to music. When composing, José Agustín Sánchez travels to the locations and interviews the people involved, researching, documenting, and immersing himself in the universe he wants to recreate. The result is genuine, original, and unique works that touch the souls of all kinds of audiences.
