With the purpose of promoting healthy lifestyles in the student and administrative community of the Institution, the “Health Week” was carried out, a day that took place between April 16 and 20, at the Fusagasugá Headquarters.

Health Week was accompanied by various recreational and educational activities that promoted health care in the Udecina community, such as screening, cardiovascular risk assessment, HIV and cancer awareness workshop, family planning guidance, dermatological evaluation, blood pressure, weight and height checks, and blood glucose testing, among others.

As part of this event, the Women and Gender discussion was held, with the participation of the Municipal Ombudsman, representatives from the Health Secretariat of the city of Fusagasugá, and the Secretariat of Social Integration.

This initiative had the support and participation of entities and organizations in the region such as La Samaritana Hospital, San Rafael Hospital, Fundación Salud y Vida, Fundación Copservir and Famisanar.

The activities were led by the interdisciplinary group of health professionals from the University Welfare Department of the Institution.
