From November 7 to 10, the University Welfare Directorate held Health Week at the Soacha Extension, focused on promoting and preventing the health of students, teachers, and administrative staff of the extension.
These types of activities are important for preventing diseases that can be avoided with good eating habits and exercise. Therefore, the event was attended by 80 people from different participating organizations who supported its success.
Among the entities that supported the development of the event was the Secretary of Health of the municipality of Soacha, who, through head nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants and physical education teachers, provided different services to the community and carried out promotion and prevention talks for the entire Udecina community.
The Secretary of Mobility also joined the event with prevention talks for cyclists, taking into account that the extension has a large number of bicycle users, in order to prevent recklessness on the roads or bike paths and to know the corresponding regulations.
