Great experience in Zipaquirá with the Cultural Ensemble

The Cultural Ensemble, organized and led by the University Welfare office of the Zipaquirá extension, took place last Wednesday, April 27, in the main auditorium of the extension, which also included the participation of the Cultural Learning Field (CAC) Music with Heart and Serenade for Cundinamarca.

Thus, the activity had four presentations with 35 artists, including students and teachers with jazz musical ensembles, the Tropical Orchestra and the Big Band directed by Maestro Alejandro Fernández.

Among those attending the event were more than 50 eleventh-grade students from the San Alberto Magno educational institution, who were invited as part of the vocational guidance process that has been carried out by the Extension with the schools of the Municipality.

Finally, the Cultural Ensemble is expected to return next semester with more musical performances. “We will return next semester with this activity that seeks to promote musical culture and encourage this beautiful profession among the youth of Zipaquirá and the region,” said the administrative director of the Extension, Dr. Juan Carlos Torres.
