The event featured the participation of 130 graduates from different academic programs, along with the involvement and collaboration of approximately 80 guests belonging to musical and dance groups, as well as administrative and logistical support, which allowed for the successful development of this event.
The event began with a greeting from the board of directors, followed by the activity “Add Color to Your University” as an innovative proposal by the Section Director Dr. Miguel Alejandro Flechas, an idea that generated active participation among the graduates, creating a great sense of belonging to the institution.
Several sporting activities were also held, including futsal, chess, table tennis, mini-tejo (a traditional Colombian sport), and frog toss, fostering integration among both participants and attendees. The event featured performances by the student music group from the Ubaté branch and the tropical music group from the Zipaquirá extension's music program, who provided entertainment for this day of fellowship and strengthened ties and collaboration with our UdeC alumni.
Undoubtedly, the active participation of graduates had a very positive impact on the bond that the University has been strengthening through the Office of Graduates, academic programs, and the administration of each campus, branch, and extension. This allowed for the creation of environments for the comprehensive development of graduates, as proposed by institutional policies, which aim to connect graduates with sports and academic activities and foster a sense of gratitude and belonging to the institution.
