Graduates' Meeting

The overall assessment is positive, and the participation and integration in the UCundinamarca Alumni Sports and Cultural Encounters, which began on October 28th at the closing of Expoucundinamarca, is significant. At the Fusagasugá campus, we had 250 graduates from various academic programs in attendance, 182 at the Facatativá extension, and 120 at the Chía extension, explained Olga Bobadilla, coordinator of the Alumni Office.

Our graduates actively participated in the various sports and cultural activities, which they greatly enjoyed and requested be continued, as these kinds of gatherings help graduates bond, Bobadilla stated.

The purpose of these meetings is to integrate graduates into the active participation of all processes at the University of Cundinamarca and, in turn, strengthen ties with a sense of belonging through activities and projects.

Furthermore, the Graduate Representatives to the University Council, Nancy Moreno Amézquita and Mario Fernando Ortiz Almanza, stated their commitment to continue working closely with graduates to empower them as active participants in the various processes and projects undertaken by the university. They emphasized the importance of strengthening the bond with alumni through academic, recreational, sporting, and cultural activities, because graduates should be part of the UCundinamarca family, and the University is their home.

It is worth noting that the opening of the event included a meeting of graduates from the Business Administration program with the participation of social communicator and journalist, Sandra Mateus, a facilitator coach with nearly 20 years of experience in media and strategic communication companies, who spoke about managerial leadership in the 21st century.
