With this startup, UCundinamarca seeks to be the articulating entity between academia, industry and the community in order to energize the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cundinamarca, all through the exchange of ideas, visions and concepts.
The activity will take place next Thursday, May 26, in an eight-hour continuous day of innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity that will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be carried out simultaneously at the Fusagasugá, Ubaté, Girardot and Facatativá campuses, where the participation of more than 650 students is expected.
“This is a teamwork space where, for a short time, groups that are already working on their project in the classroom, can finalize their business idea through this experience, based on the canvas model, in order to visualize the overall idea of the business model in a document,” said Jorge Rico, Coordinator of CITGO Chía extension.
This is an experience framed within the CAI (Institutional Learning Field) of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in which students will participate and is organized by CITGO Digital (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Field).
The startup will have a three-phase work methodology: the first will develop the maturation of the entrepreneurial idea, the second will select the ideas, and the third will produce the final product, which will be presented.
The students will be accompanied by mentors, judges, and professors in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. “What unites all these people is the common interest in entrepreneurship, and the University of Cundinamarca is the bridge to these opportunities; the invitation is for everyone to participate,” concluded coordinator Jorge.
