Today we can say that UCundinamarca's commitment has been fulfilled.”.
The Soacha branch celebrates 25 years of presence in the municipality, and now, with 55 years of departmental history, the institution plans to offer between 5,000 and 6,000 new places to the region.

For his part, the Minister of Education, Daniel Rojas Medellín, confirmed that after working sessions with the Special Assets Society (SAE) and the university, the property was formally assigned and the transfer of more than 148 billion pesos was authorized for the purchase of the land.
The process moved quickly, the Higher Council approved the signing of the purchase agreement through Agreement 005 of March 26, 2025, the document was signed with the SAE on April 2, and on May 8 the university officially received the property.
First-class infrastructure
The new headquarters includes two strategic phases:
First phase: Modular classrooms and environments for 800 students. Second phase: Conventional building for 1,800 students with laboratories, computer centers, library, cafeteria and common areas.
In total, the project will integrate 46 spaces including classrooms, laboratories, green areas and parking lots, responding to the quality training needs demanded by the municipality.
