The reflective and constructive activity with allied sectors analyzed the institutional reality of the University of Cundinamarca, through the Faculty of Education and the Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences offered at the Fusagasugá Campus, through three substantive axes: Training and Learning, Science, Technology and Innovation and University Social Interaction, in order to improve the quality of the program and offer training in accordance with the needs of the market.
Within the framework of the curricular redefinition of the program created in 2003 and with more than 400 graduates, the attendees made a current and real analysis of the Bachelor of Social Sciences for the construction of the country and the region in order to respond to the needs of society.
The focus group included an analysis of the program from the following points, stated the dean of the Faculty of Education, Aura Esther Álvarez Lara.
-Strengthening research projects and seedbeds on topics related to pedagogy, education, and socio-cultural issues, in accordance with the social and local reality of the Sumapaz region, as well as the learning fields of the program for the identification of real problems, projects and proposals linked to practice and the actions of the Fals Borda Research Center.
-At the level of social interaction, the impact of the program on the community was analyzed, as well as its contribution to solving social, economic, political, environmental and cultural problems.
-The pedagogical practices were highlighted, through agreements with the Municipal Education Secretariat, public institutions and some foundations, as well as the possible link to the labor market.
