First Cultural and Integration Meeting Soacha Extension IPA 2018

In accordance with the Rector's Plan Generation 21 and in compliance with the Strategic Plan "Designing the university we want 2016 – 2026"; the Cultural and Integration Meeting was held in the facilities of the main Auditorium of the Soacha Extension.

This meeting, which included the participation of 39 officials, divided into six groups, allowed for a detailed understanding of the history of the municipality of Soacha.

These groups were named as follows:
1. “Let’s identify with Soacha” made up of the Goods and Services Process (Maintenance) and Financial Support
2. “Soacha told in another way” made up of the University Welfare Process
3. “UCundinamarca Gallery Generation 21st Century” comprised of the processes of Training and Learning, Document Management and Systems and Technology
4. “Get cultured with Soacha” made up of the Academic Support Process.
5. ”Focus” comprised of Physical Resources and Goods and Services (General Services)
6.

“Suachuna Timeline” comprised of the Admissions and Registration process, Citizen Services, Human Talent Management and Planning.

Each of these teams illustrated the beginnings of the municipality of Soacha in aspects related to the time of the Muisca, its transformation and its present through artistic displays.

The activities also emphasized topics such as customs, gastronomy, tourist sites, including the Tequendama Falls, Canoas, Mirador de la Leona and part of the rock art and border areas of the municipality's ancient era.

It is worth highlighting that this practical exercise contributed to the integration and teamwork of all the extension's collaborators; through educational, playful and dynamic games.

One of the most eye-catching activities was called 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire', where countless questions, concentration exercises, and competition tests, among others, were carried out on each and every one of the topics presented.

Fabio Julio Gil Sanabria, Director of the Soacha Extension, thanked all the officials for their active participation and commitment to the activity, stating the importance of continuing to develop activities like this that seek to promote knowledge and a sense of belonging to the extension and the municipality.

All of this is with the aim of learning more about our culture in order to continue focusing the UCundinamarca Generation 21st Century educational project.
