The Colombian Association of Psychology Faculties (ASCOFAPSI) met with the Psychology program of the University of Cundinamarca, Facatativá extension, with the aim of establishing a collaboration for the benefit of the academic community.
The meeting, which took place at the university facilities, was attended by Dr. Astrid Triana, Executive Director of ASCOFAPSI; María Nancy Garzón Soche, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; and Rafael Leonardo Cortes Lugo, Coordinator of the Psychology Program. Knowledge managers from the program also participated, contributing their experiences and expertise.
During the meeting, Dr. Triana highlighted the benefits that ASCOFAPSI offers to both students and professors, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the links between academia and the professional sector of psychology.
Commitments were agreed upon such as maintaining program membership, providing support in advising for the renewal of the qualified registration, supporting events such as the Psychology Congress scheduled for October 2024, accompanying in academic training processes and offering virtual training.
Among the services presented are opportunities for continuing education, access to specialized resources, support programs and advice for academic and professional development.
The active participation of students and professors reflects the interest and commitment of the university community to the growth and excellence of the psychology program.
This collaboration between ASCOFAPSI and the University of Cundinamarca is expected to continue strengthening the Psychology program, providing new learning and development opportunities for all its members.
