“For me, it was a very significant surprise, it fills me with joy, and it motivates me to continue studying to grow professionally. It is also a boost to my efforts to continue with my projects, it is a recognition of my eagerness to finish my degree,” Juan Andrés emphasized.
Juan Andrés Calderón Méndez, a 22-year-old entrepreneurial student, began his academic training at SENA in the city of Girardot with the Technology in Administration and Tourism program. However, his passion for the commercial and managerial field of organizations motivated him to validate his degree with the Business Administration program at our institution, where he is currently in his second semester.
This recognition demonstrates your sense of belonging to the institution and is the result of a job well done. You are a source of pride and an example for the Ucundinamarca university community. I wish you success in everything you undertake,” said the University Rector, Adriano Muñoz Barrera.
Juan Andrés, for his part, thanked the rector for his kind words. He emphasized the importance of continuing to grow at the University of Cundinamarca, an institution he believes provides him with the training, skills, and knowledge to develop his other academic passions: languages, digital marketing, and programming.
Likewise, Juan Andrés urges the students of UCundinamarca to excel on the Saber Pro state exams, but asks, "What's holding them back? Why not try?" He invites them to reflect on these questions. Calderón Méndez emphasized.
