Environmental Day
At the Chía extension facilities, the Second Tree Planting Day was held, led by Professor Luis Fernando Hernández Sandoval, with the eighth semester students of the day and night shifts, of the thematic core of elective IV – Environment and sustainable development, which had as its fundamental purpose: “To be increasingly friendly and committed to nature and the environment in an ecological way.
On this second day, 80 trees of the Eugenia species were planted around the university fence, an initiative of the teacher and with the determined and unconditional support of the aforementioned students, as a further contribution and legacy of them to this noble cause, generating awareness in the protection, conservation and care of nature and the environment, carried out with enthusiasm and with a team spirit.
