The institution continues to demonstrate that transparency, organization, and continuous improvement are part of its institutional DNA. The most recent results of the Standard Model of Internal Control (MECI) assessment, conducted by the Administrative Department of the Public Service, show that the institution maintains outstanding performance with a score of 93.9 out of 100, ranking among the best territorial public universities in Colombia.
This result reaffirms the strength of the institutional processes and confirms that the University maintains the high standards achieved in previous years. While the average for universities in its group was 82.3 points, the University of Cundinamarca obtained a significantly higher score, reflecting strong, reliable management focused on continuous improvement.
Furthermore, the institution positioned itself in the fourth place among the evaluated territorial public universities, surpassing 12 institutions in the country and consolidating itself within the national leadership group in matters of internal control.
The results also highlight important advances in aspects related to the implementation of institutional controls and information management, fundamental elements to guarantee timely decisions, transparency and trust in university administration.
A review of the performance over the last three years reveals a positive and sustainable trend: the University's score rose from 89.4 points in 2023 to 94.0 in 2024, maintaining a virtually unchanged score of 93.9 points in 2025. This stability demonstrates that the achievements are not isolated events, but rather the result of a consolidated system that operates consistently and effectively.
More than just a number, this result reflects the commitment of the entire university community to a culture of self-control, transparency, institutional responsibility, and continuous improvement—pillars that contribute to fulfilling the educational mission and strengthening the trust of students, teachers, graduates, and society in general.
