Entrepreneurship that transforms life projects

The Digital Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Management (CDEI), attached to the Business Administration program, continues to consolidate an entrepreneurial culture that impacts students and the academic community in the different regional units.

In Fusagasugá, the Knowledge and Learning Manager and leader of the CDEI, Ingrith Plazas Ordóñez, highlighted that the purpose is to provide real experiences to Opportunity Creators so that they can project scalable business ideas and turn them into their entrepreneurial life project.

As part of this commitment, the CDEI coordinated actions with the National Learning Service (SENA) through the Fondo Emprender program, which recently opened calls for forgivable seed capital for initiatives that meet the requirements and processes for business strengthening. This guidance will also be developed in the Institutional Learning Centers (CAI), with support from SENA and university managers.

At the Chía extension, the CDEI leader, Luz Helena Álvarez Torres, highlighted the training experience in market research, a fundamental tool for reducing risks and strengthening students' business plans. She also invited them to participate in the orientation session on seed capital funding opportunities, which will be held on March 18th, both in person and virtually.

From the Soacha extension, Juan David Soto, a Sports Science student, pointed out that these spaces broaden his professional vision and allow him to project innovative ideas in his work field, recognizing the value of institutional articulation to turn knowledge into action.

These experiences reflect the commitment of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model (MEDIT), which promotes applied learning, engagement with the community, and the development of life projects with territorial impact. In this way, UCundinamarca strengthens entrepreneurship as a path to social transformation and sustainable development.
