The event showcased classroom experiences related to coexistence, peaceful conflict resolution, and civic competencies, presented by teachers in the municipality who are innovating to build a peace-based education for the benefit of the community.
The UCundinamarca joins this great initiative, guided by the Ministry of National Education, which seeks an approach to education for peace, from school to higher education, linking spaces such as the family.
Successful experiences were presented, such as:“Overcoming Cyberbullying” of the La Despensa Educational Institution, “My school is a territory of healthy coexistence.” from the Minuto de Dios Ciudad Verde School or “Chiquifútbol, Playing and Talking about Peace” from the Eduardo Santos Educational Institution, among others.
“It is very important that we begin, from school onwards, to foster the new opportunities that are opening up for the country in terms of education, not only for peace, but for peace. We must begin building this coexistence in the classroom.””,” the Secretary of Education, Hernán Castellanos, pointed out regarding the Municipal Educational Forum.
