With the special participation of the Argentine educator Estella Quintar and the philosopher Rosa María Rodríguez Magda, the senior management of the University and the deans, the conversation with the Rector for the construction of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model was carried out, this in the Emilio Sierra Baquero auditorium on November 7.
In the morning session, more than 400 students participated in the activity for the formative dialogical construction of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model, an event characterized by an environment of critical construction in the face of the academic, research, technological and economic challenges that the university must face in the coming years and that must be in accordance with the proposal.
Later in the afternoon, more than 100 teachers reflected dialectically on the educational model, highlighting the four pillars of the proposal: learning, technology, ethics and knowledge, through the multidimensional field method of institutional, cultural and disciplinary learning.
However, some somewhat skeptical but highly interested professors in exploring the proposal further urged senior management to hold faculty-level discussions to constructively contribute to and strengthen the theory and pedagogical approach of the Transmodern Digital Educational Model that will shape the University's academic work in 21st-century society.
It is worth noting that during the day, Professor Estella Quintar presented her perspective on the educational model from a pedagogical and didactic standpoint in a digital, transmodern, and translocal university.
Furthermore, the presentation of the topic "Translocality" was given virtually via Skype from Spain by Dr. Rosa María Rodríguez Magda.

The event was led by the University Rector, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, and included the intervention of the deans, who made individual interventions from the disciplinary perspective of each faculty regarding the educational model: Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Health Sciences, Sports and Physical Education Sciences, Education Sciences, and Social Sciences.
On November 20th, a discussion will be held with the postgraduate studies department and its academic units at the Fusagasugá headquarters, in the Emilio Sierra Baquero auditorium.
