Cycling Forum

The forum was attended by Martin Alonso Ramirez, a Colombian road cyclist who competed in the 1980s and 1990s, and Carlos Julio Siachoque Quiñones, winner of the Vuelta al Táchira in 1981 and several stages of the Vuelta a Colombia; who recalled the history and experiences lived in cycling.

The academic event was attended by approximately 50 students from the Sports Science program, who listened to the history of Colombian cycling written in golden pages and inspired by the courageous feats of the best exponents of the beetle race.

It is worth noting that the activity took place in the auditorium of the Soacha extension and corresponds to the Cycling II course, led by the faculty of Sports Science and Physical Education, headed by the teacher José Antonio Benítez Ortiz, and had the participation of Professor Alfonso Martin from the National Pedagogical University.
