UCundinamarca wins 23 medals at the Ascun Regional Games

66 students brought honor to the University in the university games held in the cities of Armenia and Pereira.

At the Regional Games of the Colombian Association of Universities (Ascún), 66 students from the University of Cundinamarca brought honor to the Institution in the cities of Armenia (Quindío) and Pereira (Risaralda) by winning a total of 23 medals in different sports disciplines.

The medals were obtained as follows: Athletics six golds, five silvers and one bronze; in Tennis three golds and three bronzes; in Weightlifting one gold medal and one silver; and in Swimming one gold and two bronze medals.

The University delegation was supported by an administrator, two delegates, and five coaches for each sport, who planned a technical methodology to achieve these results in the university games.
