UCundinamarca will receive Quality recertification

ICONTEC will award the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certificate.

Reaffirming the commitment of the University of Cundinamarca to improve its processes through the Quality Management System in order to respond effectively to the needs of the academic community, students and other users, on February 15th the ICONTEC (Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification) will deliver the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certificate to UCundinamarca.

“The ICONTEC certification provides the advantage of belonging to the IQNET network and means that the University's certificate is recognized in 150 countries; this is important for the strategic front of internationalization because we are engaging with the world using this certificate as support,”, Carolina Gómez Fontecha, coordinator of the Quality Management System, explained.

This recognition awarded by ICONTEC rewards the work and dedication of the entire human team of UCundinamarca, work that has been developing in the last 10 years and that contributes to the strengthening of different processes of the Institution, the planning of work, the promotion of a culture of quality and the continuous improvement of daily work.
