On August 5th, the induction and welcome day for postgraduate students was held at the different UCundinamarca campuses.
At the opening ceremony, greetings were given by the rector, vice-rector, and the director of postgraduate studies of the institution, who invited them to continue their academic preparation with enthusiasm, which is important to face the challenges of today's world.
Around 90 students participated in this event at the Fusagasuga campus, demonstrating their interest, commitment and willingness to continue building their professional and academic future with the foundations offered by UCundinamarca.
It is worth noting that professionals today must continue their academic preparation, since the challenges posed by companies demand professionals with diverse skills, as well as specific and specialized knowledge that respond to the needs of human beings and the market.
According to the Ministry of National Education, specializations in Colombia have a demand of 61% compared to master's degrees and doctorates, which are still studies that few people pursue.
As the final activity of the day, orientation was given on the study plan, schedule, graduation requirements and socialization of Agreement 009, which was led by the coordinators of each program.
