UCundinamarca receives a High Rating from ICETEX for IES Management Indicators 2017

The Institution highlighted the positive performance in relation to these indicators, the strategies and good practices implemented aimed at educational loans and student financing.

The Colombian Institute for Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (ICETEX) informed the University of Cundinamarca that its rating obtained from the management indicators is high for the year 2017, within the alliance contract celebrated between the parties and which refers to educational credits for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the financing of students in any of the lines and modalities.

“Given that it is our contractual obligation to monitor Contract No. 2014-0161 of the alliance between the University of Cundinamarca-UDEC and ICETEX, it is imperative to inform that the rating obtained from the management indicators, generated by our Planning Advisory Office, is High for the year 2017,”, ICETEX pointed out.

Similarly, ICETEX highlighted the positive performance of the University of Cundinamarca in relation to these indicators, as well as the strategies and best practices implemented to achieve these positive results, which can serve as an example for other institutions to apply.

“Given your positive performance in relation to the aforementioned indicators, it would be very helpful if, to the extent possible, you could share with us the strategies you have implemented within the university, in order to disseminate best practices that can guide other institutions with low scores,”, highlighted the ICETEX Planning Advisory Office.

The management indicators that received high ratings for their positive performance are the Loan Collection Percentage (%), the Loan Dropout Rate and its Associated Delinquency, the Legalization Rate, the Renewal Rate, and the Interannual Academic Dropout Rate. These indicators have a rating of One (1), which means they meet the established ICETEX measurement criteria for this purpose.

Finally, ICETEX celebrated this alliance and invited the departmental institution to continue with the good and timely fulfillment of these indicators.
