Cundinamarca will invest $7 billion in research projects

The department will open a call for proposals from February 19 to April 27 for academic institutions to submit projects that address local problems. The maximum co-financing amount will be 1,435 million pesos.

This call for proposals, which will be open until April 27, is open to research groups, research centers, technological development centers or innovation centers that are affiliated with the department of Cundinamarca or that are recognized by Colciencias as groups promoting new knowledge in the department.

The lines of research included in the call are: Resilience and mitigation of socio-ecosystems to climate variability; promotion of green growth; identification and promotion of the use of non-conventional renewable energies; relationships between peacebuilding and the comprehensive management of biodiversity in the territories.
