UCundinamarca in national sports

UCundinamarca participated in the National Games Copa U (Medellín), the ASCUN Zonal Games (Armenia), and the “Puerta del Llano” Swimming Tournament (Villavicencio). They also organized a cycling tour in the municipality of San Bernardo.

From April 21 to 23, a good number of students from UCundinamarca participated in the National Games U Cup in the city of Medellín, obtaining 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals y 2 bronze in Taekwondo, bronze medal in table tennis, gold medal in tennis and gold medal in women's beach volleyball.

In addition, UCundinamarca participated from April 19 to 23 in the zonal football meeting organized by ASCUN, in the city of Armenia, with its selection of teachers, officials and administrators who obtained the second place, demonstrating a quality sporting performance.

On the other hand, student Yeison Alexander Peña Castellanos, from the Electronic Engineering program, participated between April 21 and 23 in the II Villavicencio City Swimming Tournament “Puerta del Llano”, obtaining a bronze medal.

On Saturday, April 22, the group of mountain biking students participated in the fourth bike ride, which have been taking place in different towns in the department, this time in the municipality of Saint Bernard, showcasing the region and UCundinamarca through its athletes.

It is important to recognize the athletes who are part of our UCundinamarca Siglo 21, always proudly carrying the Institution's flags and representing it at a high level.
