The Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Political Sciences organized a new edition of the dance marathon on November 20th, which involved students, directors and teachers.
The dance marathon, whose purpose is to create a space for individual and collaborative learning among participants, also cultivates culture and art through different musical rhythms and motivates the community to improve its well-being and health through physical activity.
“The development of the dance marathon seeks to establish itself as a learning opportunity for the academic community of the University of Cundinamarca. Likewise, through the practice of these activities, it aims to strengthen expressiveness, creativity, self-esteem, and foster appreciation and mutual respect.”, Sonia Smith Niño Suarez, coordinator of the Humanities area, expressed.
Among this activity that encouraged dance, teamwork and joy, a dance competition was held featuring different rhythms such as "carranga".
The participants received certificates of participation and some small gifts from the organizers.
