UCundinamarca: Crossing borders through virtual education

“A learning experience as novel as it is enriching.” With these words, the directors of Hipócrates University in Acapulco, Mexico, described the positive impact that the implementation of some of the educational proposals developed and promoted by the Office of Virtual and Distance Education at our University had on their institution.

Thus, thanks to the signing of the Interinstitutional Agreement between both universities and the support of the Internationalization Office, a fruitful alliance was formed that resulted in the acquisition by the Mexican University of our Diploma in Digital Marketing, from which its participants not only obtained successful results at the training level, but also enjoyed the well-known advantages offered by virtual education.

Similarly, some of their managers accepted our invitation to experience enhancing their reading skills through the course Strategic Reading for the 21st Century, one of the most ambitious initiatives in the virtual offering of UCundinamarca, which has undoubtedly strengthened the academic and commercial ties between the two institutions.

Aware of the path of growth and expansion that virtuality has opened up, and specifically, the opportunity it represents to strengthen the internationalization of our programs, the Office of Virtual and Distance Education reaffirms through these initiatives its commitment to our University, under the framework of MEDIT, to promote educational projects that truly represent 21st-century learning.
