On July 27, at the headquarters of the Directorate of Special Projects of the University of Cundinamarca, the collaboration agreement between the two higher education institutions was signed for the implementation of "Continuing Education Courses" in the different areas of Educational Sciences, Humanities and Educational Innovation.
For the first time, a regional public university will offer postgraduate programs, including master's and doctoral degrees, in Educational Sciences in partnership with a Spanish university. The agreement, signed by the rector of the University of Cundinamarca, Adriano Muñoz Barrera, and the representative of the Andalusian University, Gerardo Ruiz Rico, marks a new phase in the exchange of training and research experiences, benefiting students in the Humanities, Sports Sciences and Physical Education, and Educational Innovation programs.
“This is a very important agreement for the University of Cundinamarca, since we are a university with limited resources, but thanks to this type of agreement we will be able to become pioneers in educational research, and provide our students, especially in the area of physical activity, which is one of our strengths, with higher levels for the development of their knowledge,” said the rector of the University of Cundinamarca.
According to the representative of the University of Jaén, Spain, this is a very important alliance with high expectations in the research area, focused on sports science and education.
The courses, established during the development of the signed agreement, may be organized in different delivery modalities: face-to-face, blended and online.
