On February 4, the Administrative Director of the Chía and Zipaquirá extensions, Dr. Juan Carlos Torres Sandoval, the engineers of the oversight body and officials of UCundinamarca visited the construction site of the institution's new headquarters in the municipality of Zipaquirá where they identified that the work is progressing satisfactorily, so much so that studies and designs for what will be the second phase of the project are already underway.
“The goal is to have the first stage of the project ready by the end of this year, so that the furniture contract can be executed in 2023 and, consequently, educational activities can begin,” added Dr. Torres.
The project will benefit more than a thousand students and will have new programs such as Psychology and Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and English on the site of more than 4,000 square meters, and of course continue training professionals in music, a flagship program for the municipality since 1999.
