Conscience, humanism and values at the III Dance and Movement Festival

The Udecinos of the Soacha Extension enjoyed the III Dance and Movement Festival, with the participation of dance groups from Soacha, Mosquera and Bogotá.

The III Dance and Movement Festival was held at the Soacha Extension with the participation of 92 dancers, 10 directors and more than 30 companions from dance groups from the municipalities of Soacha, Mosquera and Mesitas del Colegio.

These activities provided different spaces for students of the Sports Science and Physical Education Program to strengthen prior knowledge for the construction of new concepts.

“These spaces allow students to become aware of the importance of dance in the development processes of the human being in the three programs taught by UCundinamarca at the Soacha Extension,”, Oscar A. Gómez Sanabria, a tenth-semester student of Sports Science and Physical Education and organizer of this event, highlighted this.

For three consecutive years this Festival has provided students with the opportunity to apply more effective and efficient learning in a theoretical-practical way, and it is also in progress towards institutionalization and application in the fields of learning.
